Superior Employment Services is now seeking a Long-Term Substitute Teachers in
Grades K-12 in Detroit.

We are currently working with several school districts in Detroit, to hire candidates for Long-Term positions in Grades K-12.

You are not required to have a Teaching Certificate to be a Substitute Teachers!

When a teacher is absent for an extended period of time, the long-term substitute teacher is responsible for providing classroom coverage. The long-term substitute works the regular hours of the absent classroom teacher during his/her absence. As a long-term substitute, you’ll become an integral part of a school’s educational team, increasing your teaching expertise while maximizing the learning experience for students!

Minimum Requirements:

* Minimum of 60 college credit hours from an accredited College or University in any field with at least 2.0 cumulative GPA

Substitute Teacher Job Description:

The ability to create and or follow lesson plans
Provide a structured learning atmosphere
Maintaining positive control of the classroom
Monitor student attendance and behavior
Develop classroom notes as follow up for the home room teacher
Possess the ability to develop positive working relationships with students, administrators and staff!
